Blair is an industry leader in professional liability claims, particularly in building and financial matters. He has worked in private practice as a dispute resolution and commercial litigation lawyer, and also as in-house counsel in insurance and banking. Blair spent many years work for brokers Marsh, Aon and Honan and has a strong knowledge of professional liability and professional indemnity especially related to engineering and banking/finance. 

Those that know Blair will know that he prides himself on achieving results. He has forged a reputation in the insurance and legal sectors as a disciplined advocate, persistent negotiator and insurance guru for claim disputes.

Blair commenced his early career at Mallesons and trained in the Harvard Method of dispute resolution at the renowned Humboldt University in Berlin. In addition to law and banking and finance studies Blair was Head of Legal for a global insurance business and Head of Legal Risk and compliance for an Australian bank.

Blair was Posted to Lloyds of London shortly after Lehman Bros collapsed in 2008 and negotiated major claims by global banks at a time of exceptional upheaval.
